In this series of images, I'm thinking about glass and light and geometry (circles, angles). I've been reading about Sicily and the name Empedocles came into my head while I was working on the last one. I think it was the way his name sounds like the word cycle that made it come into my head, but I like the his idea of elements combining and recombining and parts of beings wandering around, looking to combine with other parts and other beings...This feels like how my pieces evolve.
